A Single Skiers’ Perfect Holiday
Ever tried finding a solo ski holiday? Trying to book a ski holiday as a lone traveller can be quite a challenge indeed! Single supplements abound the ski industry, leave the single traveller seriously out of pocket. And sometimes spending the whole week skiing on your own is not quite the social experience you might have hoped for…
Ski holidays for solo skiers and group ski holidays. We’ve been providing these ski holidays in the French Alps for a few years now with great success. The idea is that we allow solo travellers to book just one space in a room, you’ll be sharing with another person of the same sex. This has two great advantages, firstly no single occupancy supplements! Secondly you’ll be with a group of other independent travellers, a great group to skiing with and plenty of people to recount the day’s adventures with over a few drinks in the evenings.
Singles Holidays? Like Snow based dating? – Not at all! It’s not at all a “singles” ski holiday, as in a dating type holiday. It’s pure a holiday for people travelling on their own. We have a whole mixture of people – those with partners that don’t ski, those who’s friends can’t hit the slopes this year and are left on their own, we do have singles too, and people who have already had their family ski holiday this year and are sneaking away for a bonus week on their own! A whole range of people of different ages and from different walks of life. It always makes for a very interesting and friendly group, and everyone has that one thing in common, that they are travelling alone and are looking for other friendly people to hit the ski slopes with.
