Temple of the Six Banyan Trees

One of the finest and oldest Buddhist temples in the city, the temple has a large collection of cultural-relics. Constructed in 537 AD, the temple has undergone several changes and renovations over its history. The most attractive features of the temple are the Laughing Buddha figurine at the Tianwang Hall, the effigy of general Weituo, and the architecture of the Flowery Pagoda or the Six Banyan Pagoda.
