Paris on the Cheap
There are a million good reasons to visit Paris but like many capital cities it is not the cheapest place on earth. That’s why I was very pleased to read member blog Eurocheapo’s post on 55 Ways to Save Money on Your Trip to Paris in 2012.
Fifty-five ways is a lot and that means there are bound to be a few useful tips in the post, whoever you are and no matter how often you’ve visited Paris before. I’m particularly intrigued by some of the free entertainment possibilities it mentions, including Sunday afternoon concerts in churches, free open-air movies in summer in the 19th arrondissement and free (or very cheap) classical and jazz concerts in the Bois de Vincennes.
Look up our post on budget travel to Paris for some more suggestions, or our post on visiting Paris museums using the Paris pass, since that can save real museum lovers both time and money.
