The home team is often witnessed in live action and more than 50,000 fans can watch the matches. Many FIFA 2014 qualifying matches were played in the stadium. Estadio Cuscatlán is located at 40.2 km of distance from El Salvador international airport.

This lake has a natural charm and beauty which is hard to resist. It is surprisingly located at 745 metres above the sea level with hot springs cornering it from different sides. Hotels nearby the lake offer reasonably priced accommodation for people. Activities like swimming, kayaking, jet skiing, diving and boating can be also done here. The site is 53 km from San Salvador and almost 12 km from Santa Ana.

This historical site near Santa Ana has been restored extensively through ages. It is a section of the bigger archaeological zone of Chalchuapa. Mayan ruins, pyramids, temples, and tombs occupy a large space with certain sections cemented for preservation purposes. For art lovers and antique collectors, there are shops outside selling a range of artefacts and historically preserved items. Life like structures, statues, stony pyramids and ancient artefacts makes the place worth a visit. The archaeological site is located at 110 kilometres of driving distance from San Salvador international airport.

Resting over the San Salvador volcano, the El Boquerón National Park is a suitable spot for travellers. There is a crater lying at the centre of this park with a depth of over 500 metres and diameter of 5 km. A drive to this park from El Salvador airport takes over 50 minutes to cover a distance of nearly 60 km.
