The coastal belt of Aitutaki is covered by a lagoon of coconut and the huge pandanus palm trees. Mangaia, another very attractive island on the Cook Islands is home to less than 500 people and hence offers great privacy to its travelers. However, the Aitutaki Island and its lagoon, Rarotonga and the Muri beach of Rarotonga are the top rated travel destinations on the Cook Islands.
